WAMPO 2021-2024 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AMENDMENT #6.5

WAMPO’s Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is an on-going program that assigns funding to specific highway, road, bridge, transit, bicycle, pedestrian, and other transportation projects in the region.  Inclusion in the TIP is federally required before any federal funds can be made available for use on a project.

The current TIP covers projects that are expected to be active during Federal Fiscal Years (FFYs) 2021 through 2024; it includes 131 projects, totaling $1,083,177,740 in estimated cost.

Regular opportunities are provided to project sponsors to request changes during the project development process.  Requests for new projects or requests for significant changes to scope or cost are considered as formal Amendments and require formal approval by the WAMPO Transportation Policy Body (TPB).

The public comment period for a proposed special amendment to the 2021-2024 TIP, between the sixth and seventh regular amendments, is April 23, 2022 through May 22, 2022.  Please submit comments to:  ashley.bryers@wampo.org.
