Economic Development Report

The WAMPO Economic Development Report Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified consultants, vendors, or firms. The Economic Development Report will help us and our agency partners to respond to the economic growth and production of assets that improve the quality of life and realize the connectivity between communities.

 

Due to COVID-19 and the 737 Max suspension of service, the economic development study will show the impact of economics and everyday life in the WAMPO region. It is important to understand the region’s industry diversification, business retention and expansion, economy fortification, and how transportation has impacted the economy and access to opportunity.

 

The consultant will develop an economic development analysis through the planning process

and will address:

  1. Demographic & Socioeconomic Forecasts (Population & Employment projections)

  2. Regional Economic Indicators

  3. Identify Strengths and Resources to help develop the Regional Economy

  4. Develop Models for Cost/Benefit Analysis of Transportation Projects and study the economic impacts of transportation projects.

 

The RFP will issue on September 20, 2022

The RFP will close on November 14, 2022, at 5:00 pm (CT).
