Mô hình nhu cầu du lịch

Tổ chức Quy hoạch Đô thị Khu vực Wichita (WAMPO) đang trong quá trình cập nhật Mô hình Nhu cầu Di chuyển (TDM) cho khu vực. TDM là một công cụ cần thiết để các tổ chức quy hoạch đô thị xây dựng kế hoạch dài hạn và đánh giá đúng đắn các dự án tương lai trong khu vực, cũng như đảm bảo tuân thủ các quy định của Cục Quản lý Đường bộ Liên bang (FHWA).

JEO Consulting Group và Caliper Corporation đã được thuê để làm việc với nhóm dự án WAMPO nhằm cập nhật TDM. Dự án cập nhật đã khởi động vào tháng 10 năm 2022 và sẽ kết thúc vào mùa xuân năm 2024.
