Request for Proposal
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified consultants, vendors, or firms (hereinafter “Consultants”) to assist WAMPO with the completion of its single audit. WAMPO requires a single audit to be conducted in accordance with Audits of State and Local Governments and Non-Profit Organizations (OMB Circular A-133) and any supplemental directives with reports provided accordingly. The audit must be conducted simultaneously with the audit of the organization’s financial statements
Budget Information
The Wichita Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (WAMPO) is funded by a combination of federal grants and local member fees, which make up 80 and 20 percent of its total funding respectively. WAMPO operates under a yearly fiscal budget and work program which is approved by the Transportation Policy Body. The budget and work program supports regional objectives, local government priorities, and legal mandates associated with WAMPO’s responsibilities as the federal Metropolitan Planning Organization.
Audit Report
The Wichita Area Metropolitan Planning Organization receives a financial audit on an annual basis from an independent audit firm as required by Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards.
